Re-stimulation
of SOX gene reverses the aging process
Partial reprogramming by expression
of reprogramming factors (Oct4, Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc) for short periods
of time restores a youthful epigenetic signature to aging cells and
extends the life span of a premature aging mouse model

Cellular 'Rejuvenation' Experiment in
Mice Reverses Signs of Aging, Scientists Say.
n the study, the researchers
experimented with four well-known proteins that regulate the expression
of DNA – Oct4, Sox2, Klf4 and c-Myc

SOX2 can reverse markers of aging in
cells, improve the capacity of aged mice to repair tissue injuries, and
extend longevity in progeroid mice. SOX2 can be temporarily induced by
adding the antibiotic doxycycline to the drinking water. We found that
this is sufficient to reverse DNA methylation changes that occur upon
aging in the pancreas, liver, spleen, and blood.

According to the peer reviewed study:
A
literature review of flavonoids and lifespan in model organisms, that was published online by Cambridge
University Press 09 September 2016,
that was conducted by Kathrin Pallauf and
colleagues, these are the flavonoids that extended lifespan on
animals. The percentage of lifespan is listed below, from longest
to least:
Baicalein
45% - Dose 100um
Quercetin 3-0-glucoside 39% - Dose
200um
Myricetin 33% - Dose 33%).
Quercetin (in Flavonoids from onion
species Kito Momiji) - 20%
Silymarin 25%- Dose 50um
tetramethylpyrazi
Icarlin 21% - Dose 20um
Epigallocatechin gallate 20% - Dose
100um
Epigallocatechin 15% - Dose 100um
Catechin 13% - Dose 200um
Baicalin is a flavonoid extracted
from the root of the medicinal herb, Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi,
which is also known as the traditional Chinese herb, Huangqin.
