Is
a lack of Vitamin A the real cause of aging?
The human body cannot make Vitamin A.

enhanced Sox9 mRNA expression.

boosts the SOX9 gene - "we detected a dramatic overexpression of the
transcription factor SOX9"

SYNERGY
Isorhamnetin synergises with retinoic
acid -

Isorhamnetin, derivative of quercetin
is found in large amounts in parsley -

Olive oil is also an abundant source
of Isorhamnetin

How
to Generate Vitamin A in the Body
"when
PVACs-rich foods are consumed, the human body bioconverts these PVACs
into retinol, the active form of vitamin A used by the body"

Conversion of provitamin A
carotenoids in pumpkin to vitamin A (retinol activity equivalent).
Steamed and boiled pumpkin, having the highest levels.

PVAC
Rich Foods Combinations
Steamed mashed banana, sardines,
groundnut sauce, onions, and tomatoes.
Highest combination levels from
highest to lowest -Banana boiled with red kidney beans, Banana boiled
with groundnut sauce, tomatoes and onions, Steamed mashed banana with
groundnut sauce, Stiff porridge with red kidney beans and stewed
sardines (No trace of either vitamin A or iron was observed in the
maize-based porridge).

The highest pVAC concentrations in
banana were recorded from samples of the Micronesian Fe'i type banana
“Utin Iap” collected in Pohnpei which ranged from 2,780 to 8,508 μg/100
g fresh weight (fw) β‐carotene

Increasing
the dietary content of Vitamin A from inadequate to adequate during the
developmental stages of Drosophila increased the median life span by as
much as 17.5%. The optimum dietary range of concentrations of Vitamin A
for increasing the life span of Drosophila was found to be between 4
and 8 IU/g food. The maximum life span was reduced as dietary
concentrations of Vitamin A exceeded this value.
