Are Entrepreneurs being negatively impacted by Corporate Policy from some Corporations? Return to Homepage

If you are a web entrepreneur that utilizes the services of Amazon, Google, Paypal or E-bay there are a few things you should know about before you sign up for their "free" services.

As of June 2017 -

Amazon can ban your book, as this article shows

You Tube stopped monetizing videos for newcomers. Instead you must have 10,000 views. Learn more about their new policy.

Paypal can and does freeze paypal funds including one person who had $70,000 frozen. From my own personal experience of using paypal buttons on my website so customers could buy my proudcts, if you use their buy now buttons instead of using eBay they freeze your account at will. This used to happen to me when I used paypal checkout buttons on my website for customers who bought my products online.

Not to mention the suppression of conservative speech by twitter and Facebook.

Now these polices by the big 4 only impact you if you make money using them and make your money online. It would be wise to not completely depend on any of these indefinitely as polices can and do change. So don't keep all your eggs in one basket and diversify your income as I show in my book Secrets to Creating Money Effortlessly using Lucid Dreaming.

However, there is something that could impact anyone that has a website or wants to expand their brick and mortar business using the web. Just the last couple of years saw ICANN requiring website owners to "be verified". If they were not verified, their websites were shut off.

YouTube claims the reason they turned off the monetizing of videos for people having a low view count was to weed out the copying of illegal content and "bad characters". If google hires small armies to block 1.7 BILLION sites with illegal content via the DMCA "TAKE-DOWN REQUESTS", why don't they hire the same small army to block You Tubers copying illegal content or blocking the "bad actors?" and allow the budding entrepreneur to grow.

Could this mean future plans exist for domain domain names no longer being issued unless you have 10,000 likes on Facebook or unless you have 1 million YouTube video subscribers, or unless you have 100% positive feedback on eBay?

Here is something that seems scary and could happen "In the year 2025 ICANN issued a new policy that unless a person applying for a domain name has been "verified" to have 10,000 Facebook likes, a domain name will not be issued".

If ICANN begins taking on the same policy as "The Big 4", expect domain name registration to no longer be allowed by just anyone. It is now an accepted fact that nobody questioned or fought back when ICANN turned off millions of websites because they were not "verified". Forget the fact that you have to have an e-mail address in order to get a domain name in the first place. People feel better abiding by a "request for verification", rather then being told to confirm their e-mail address.

It seems the Big 4 don't care that they began their humble beginnings in a garage, yet they seem to be implementing policies that deter online entrepreneurship and business expansion and the expression of free speech.
