This page has been Updated: September 3rd, 2013. Section updated is raw foods table. New raw food combinations added
In ancient texts that speak of anti-aging they discuss of combining brown rice with raw fruit or sunflower seeds. They also say that it is the proper foods combined together that creates the anti-aging effect. The real simplified key to all this is combining calcium with starch. When calcium and starch are mixed together, they form cross links. This cross linking effect is also what is key to creating the Zero Point Energy Battery, which runs for extremely long periods of time.
The calcium herbs, such as Ginseng and Dang Shen also inhibit calcium channels. Inhibit of calcium channels basically means it causes your muscles to relax and alleviates hypertension, which are benefical to contributing to good health in the body. This means that foods high in Calcium, such as yogurt, relax the muscles, as research has shown:

Relaxing these same muscles also cure acid reflux. So when we look at herbs that cure acid reflux, we get the same herbs that are popular anti-aging herbs.
The combination of starches and calcium creates an immediate effect of stress reduction in the body and creates many other health related advantages.
Starches digest in the small intestine, just like yogurt and create a probiotic effect, which creates a healthy immune system and can help create Omega 3 oils. The best starches are unrefined carbohydrate starches. Brown rice is high in unrefined starch. As we shall show later in this article, both beans, nuts, brown rice and wild rice are unrefined starches, also called unrefined carbohydrates. Unrefined means that the foods have not been processed. It is the processing that removes the valuable minerals and amino acids from the foods. Unrefined foods include the following: Unrefined Grains, Polysaccharides and Unrefined Carbohydrates.
Raw fruits are high in Amino Acids. When the right starches, which are usually plant or herb based starches (such as He Shou Wu or Sweet Potatoes), are combined with the amino acids or calcium, it creates positive chealation effects. This means that it drastically increases the absorption of the calcium by the body. The starch also increases the absorption of the amino acids by the body.
When these 2 items are brought together, we get a release of energy. One perfect example is when we at EZ3DBIZ.com researched Zero Point Energy . Our final prototype ran multiple LED batteries non-stop for 6 weeks. This works because of the following:
Sodium alginate is a starch
Alginates do not react with the dyes, they easily wash out of the finished textile and are the best thickeners for reactive dyes. Alginates are more expensive than starch and recently starch manufacturers have made efforts to produce modified starches that do not react with the reactive dyes, so it is becoming a more competitive market. This use of alginate represents a large market

Research has shown that when starch is digested slowly, it enhances the growth rate of chickens. Before going further, I will show the connections between starches, amino acids and calcium which can all be easily visualized using the
diagram below.
Amino acids serve to increase the absorption of calcium by the body. These amino acids are Lysine and Glycine. Other important amino acids that are associated with detoxification and liver regeneration are Arginne and Citrulline. Citrulline is produced in the liver and is than converted to Arginne. The best way to detail how this process works together is to list some
real-life examples. Let's begin.
1: The Bristilecone Pine Trees, live well over 5,000 years of age. What is most important here is the soil that they grow in. Their soil is made up of mostly Dolomite Soil. Dolomite soil is made up of calcium magnesium carbonate CaMg(CO3)2. The substance in nature that most resembles this are eggshells, of which eggshell are one of the very best fertilizers.
Pine Trees are composed of starch, of which most of the starch is concentrated towards the bottom part of the tree near the roots. This is how paper is made, from the starch of trees.
Wood preservation varnishes are composed of calcium. This is because the starch in the wood greatly absorbs the calcium easily, making it one of the best preservers for wood.
Starches are another key to maximizing calcium absorption. Pine nuts, which come from pine trees, contain significant amounts of the amino acid Lysine. The amino acid Lysine, as mentioned earlier, greatly boosts the absorption of calcium.
2: Now let's closely examine the secret of the long lived Costa Rican Nicoyan Centurions.
The water that they consume is rich in calcium. Most interesting of all, the corn that they grow and harvest, before they make tortillas from it, they infuse it with lime (also called calcium hydroxide). Corn just happens to be high in amino acids and also contains some starch. So we see a powerful 3 pyramid process here. Starch and amino acids from the corn with calcium hydroxide infused into the corn. They then drink this with water high in calcium. Their diets also consist of wild rice, which is high in unrefined starch (or carbohydrates) and cooked beans, which are also high in starch and contain amino acids.
Lime (also called Calcium Hydroxide) when mixed with Sea Algae creates fracture resistant bones making the bones extremely strong and flexible. Sea Algae happens to be high in a special starch that the sea algae uses to store energy in and help us increase our body's ability to store starch in the form of glycogen.
3: Let's examine another real life story of a man named Mr. Li Ching Yuen, who allegedly lived to 256 years of age. He mentioned the secret to his long life being attributed to the herb Fo Ti, also known as He Shou Wu. He also ate a lot of Ginseng.
The herb Fo Ti is a member of the buckwheat family and Fo Ti happens to be one of the herbs that contains a lot of starch. The herb Ginseng he ate is also high in Calcium. Ginseng also happens to be very high in the detoxification amino acid Arginine, which naturally removes ammonia from the body and helps the liver produce citrulline. Ammonia builds up in the body over time, especially if lots of proteins have been consumed over the months and the body has not had a chance to get rid of them either through exercise or a detox plan.
Tissue samples from ginseng and companion species reveal high calcium levels in good stands of wild ginseng (Corbin 1997).

4: Let's take another example. The diets of the Japanese Okinawans. The water they drink is high in Coral Calcium. Coral Calcium is made up of Calcium Carbonate.
Their diet consists of a large amount of Sweet Potatoes, which are high in starch. They also eat a lot of Tofu, which is high in calcium. Tofu also contains the amino acid Lysine, which as mentioned earlier, greatly boosts the absorption of calcium into the body.
To locate the best tofu that is high in calcium, choose only organic tofu that says "calcium precipitated" on the label or that says the Tofu was prepared with calcium sulfate.
5: And in our final example, our ongoing anti-aging research has yielded what we call the "condition yellow project". This is a period where we use solar energies and diet to attempt to rejuvenate the body overnight. This project has been ongoing for over 2 years with measurable success along the way.
The foods that have so far yielded the best results have consisted of Sunflower Seeds, which are high in starch and lysine, cottage cheese which is high in calcium and Tofu, which is also high in calcium. A vitamin C capsule is taken with the tofu to help the lysine absorb better in the body. As well as having many other beneficial effects. Tofu contains the amino acids, proline and lysine. This formula includes Spirulina and Sesame Seeds which are extremely high in lysine and glycine. Sunflower partially defatted flour and sesame seed flour are also high in lysine. Brewer's Yeast is also included in the formula and it is classified as a probiotic, which helps ferment the good bacteria in the lower stomach, creating a healthy immune system. Brewer's yeast also contains large amounts of Lysine to help boost calcium absorption.
So in summary, we see 2 major necessary components to properly combine foods into a longevity formula. Starch and Calcium. It is key to include amino acids glycine and lysine to better help the bones draw in the starch. Resistant starch is also compatible with fructooligosacharides, which is also called Inulin or FOS. The foods highest in FOS are those of the Sunflower Family of plants. These include Chicory Root and Jerusalem Artichoke. By foods high in FOS to calcium enriched foods, especially yogurt, it greatly boosts the prebiotic bacteria in the lower stomach. So if we were to do a search for foods highest in starch, calcium and the amino acids Glycine and Lycine through nutritiondata.com we come up with the following results:
Rice, Potatoes, Wheat Flour, Amaranth, Taco Shells, Spelt, Quinoa, Kamut, Chicken Noodle Soup, Steamed White Corn, Pinto Beans, Navy Beans, Cashews, Cinnamon Rolls, Dried Corn. If we include Arginine in the search we get: Oats and Dehydrated Potatoes. Oatmeal, wild rice and quinoa are all unrefined grains.
One important element to remember in all this, amino acids are destroyed by high temperature cooking. So it is best to consume cashews raw and to sprout the Spelt, Quinoa and Kamut. Cooked beans digest easier, so it is best to lightly cook these.
What stands out about these foods rich in calcium, glycine, lysine and starch? They are foods consumed by people who are centurions.
So knowing the 3 main categories that create the longevity effect upon the body we can now use this information to put together a rough longevity food combination chart as displayed below. When we eat these foods together, they 3 folded anti-aging synergy goes into effect, revitalizing and making us feel extremely young and healthy.

There are also a number of herbs that help build bone and tendon and are excellent herbs to combine with Fo Ti. I shall list some of these below:
Chinese Herbs that Build Bone. Bone and Tendon Building Herbs
Du Zhong (Cortex Eucommiae Ulmoidis) - Rebuilds Tendons and Bones
Chang Chun Teng (Hedra Nepalensis) - Rebuilds Tendons and Bones
Lu Han Cao (Herba Pyrolae) - Rebuilds Tendons and Bones
Lu Rong and Gui Ban - Are both rich in Calcium and Magnesium
Pigweed (Amaranthus) - Just 1 ounce of pigweed supplies over 1,500 mg of calcium, especially just before it blooms.
When apples (calcium) and bananas (resistant starch) are combined or eaten together, nutrient absorption is significantly enhanced. "In this study, 57 male babies (5-12 months) with persistent diarrhea of at least 14 days duration were given a week's treatment with a rice-based diet containing either green banana, apple pectin or the rice diet alone. Treatment with both green banana and apple pectin resulted in a 50% reduction in stool weights, indicating that the babies were absorbing significantly more nutrients."

"The authors begin with the observation that the South African Bantu, similar to certain cultures Dr. Price visited, had a low prevalence of tooth decay when eating their native diet high in unrefined carbohydrate foods. However, their decay rate increased rapidly as modern foods such as white flour and refined sugar became available."

Other fruits high in Amino Acids include: Peaches, Avocado, Pineapple, Banana and Kiwi Fruit.
Fruits high in fiber, which mirror unrefined starches include: apples, grapes, bananas, pears.
Yogurt and Kelp are combined together and used to repair and rejuvenate the skin. Herbs high in calcium can also be combined with Fo Ti and Ginseng Kale, Turnip Greens and Watercress can be slightly steamed, just enough so the amino acids are not destroyed.
So there you have it, the 3 main keys to diet to maintain an extremly long healthy life.
